Coming from a family of artists I drew from an early age, later indulging in all genres of painting, meeting the challenges presented in each genre to broaden my artistic scope.
With a natural curiosity to experiment I explored different media which led me away from painting to dabble in sculptures, carving and woodturning using NZ native wood before returning to painting again.
To quote Thomas Merton “Art enables us to find ourselves and lose ourselves at the same time.”
