Tracey’s narrative figurative & portrait work is inspired by emotions, family and friends that surround her, and watching her children grow; using herself, family & friends as models.
What she loves about oil paint is its versatility, it offers her the luxury of time so that she can blend on the actual canvas itself, while it is wet. Painting in layers, it can take up to 3 or 4 coats till she gets the desired result.
Exhibiting since 2002 in Melbourne, Adelaide, and throughout New Zealand in group and solo shows, painting full time since 2017.
