Moonbow

Titled ‘Moonbow’ the middle depicts the Balinese swastika which symbolizes good fortune and protection against negative energies. I created this sculpture during the separation with my ex partner of 14 years. It was the most hardest time in my life as we also have 2 children together. I have always had a love for art since a child. Since having kids I put all my vocations aside for years to be a working Mum. I always yearned to create art in those years. My career at Leathersmiths gave me access to materials to create art I never even knew were possible. In a time where I needed hope and strength, I created it in this work.
