Leah is my daughter who overcame a lot of difficulties in her life. I painted her in a black top with a pink background to show that she can handle her life with a strong mind and a kind heart wherever she goes, whatever she does.
Pumpkins are vegetables, they are nutritious food to consume and easy to grow.

West Coast Farmer that I met many years ago on a trip to the Sth Island. I found the photo a few years ago and last year was inspired to paint him as he reminded me of my Dad, a Taranaki farmer.
