This is a bright pallet acrylic painting painted on a canvas board. It is displayed in a very good quality Italian box frame. When viewing this painting, depicting lavender fields and unmistakable buildings, the viewer will identify and be transported to Florence.

Yachts Moored in the Firth with Houses on the Beach - 2024
Soft against hard, light against dark, large against small, all suggesting contrasts within this peacefully quiet, yet strong and bold painting of a landscape of contrasts.
Blind Contour of Someone I Might Know, with View of Garden - 2024
Who is she? She looks familiar. She wears a half grin as she looks to the left of the viewer. The curved line on her chin is perhaps the moko of her mountain and the view to the garden tells us she is of the land.
This little watercolour captures many small images of a landscape. Each square is a painting within itself but woven with other images to make a coherent whole. A pop of colour brings the eye into the picture.
In a world full of contrast and conflict as humanity grapples with racial, religious and political differences, this painting reflecting nature in full colour, shows us that although there are stunning contrasts between sky, sea and land they can coexist in beautiful harmony.
